Dr. Paul Ignazio Saladino, MD

Dr. Saladino’s office treated me with disrespect, causing me to suffer deep humiliation. My wife and I have been his patients for over twenty five years. However, following my disputing a prior bill which their office had failed to follow up on, Dr. Saladino refused to see me for a scheduled medical appointment and even refused to come out of his office to speak with me for a few minutes. In addition, his office manager also refused to speak with me. The receptionist informed me that I would not be seen or be medically treated unless the outstanding bill was paid, even though it was disputed.I was told This was the practice’s policy, in a curt and very rude manner.. I followed up with a heartfelt letter to Dr. Saladino which I hand delivered marked “personal and confidential.” His ‘reply’ was a form letter discharging me from his practice. If a dehumanizing experience is what you seek, look no further!

My husband has been a patient of Dr Saladino for years. He is a very nice Doctor but the staff at the front desk is a complete nightmare. Rude and condescending to say the least! It’s almost impossible to get your prescriptions filled and you will get attitude for asking. Every month I dread calling because I have to deal with them. Extremely frustrating and very unorganized. I’ve asked to talk to Dr. Saladino himself or even a supervisor and I always get the run around. This has been going on for YEARS and I’ve finally had enough.

AAA+++ The best general/hospital doctor I've dealt with. So intelligent. So thorough. Extremely wide range of talents. For instance, he's excellent at treating orthopedic issues right there in his office before sending you off to a specialist, if need be. Also fantastic with the mental health side of things. And I thanked the LORD when he was the MD making the rounds when I was in the hospital. It was like a health concierge with my personal TRUSTED Dr.

I was very pleased with my experience with Dr Saladino. I can be a hard critic of doctor's offices and the people employed by them. Combine that attitude with an innate crankiness when I’m not feeling at all well and the result can be much less than pleasant. My first time with Dr Saladno was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. When I say the doctor and all the other employees of the cross valley made me feel that I was in safe hands and always make me feel comfortable, and I believe he is truly one of the best doctors in the area. I am truly grateful and won’t get that awful feeling of dread the next time I get sick and am unable to see my own physician. I appreciated their follow-up and willingness to answer questions also. A big thank you to all of them.

Great start. Nice guy. Ok office, I had to wait but that's ok for a good doctor. He was grateful enough to take my cash even though I have high end private insurance when he prescribed weed. But that is where it ended. He had no interest, his girls would call and interrogate you about EXACTLY why you were coming. My massages got so mixed up all the time I gave up. If you want pot , he is your guy But dont be fooled by the "mr nice guy" act when the cash ended so did he. Would not even give me a referral. So sad

I’ve been going to this doctor for years and they never answer the phone, if you really want an appointment you need to go to them. They won’t give u an appointment best for you, they’ll give you an appointment best for them they need new doctors that actually answer phones and attend people when there sick not a couple days later.

Doctor Saladino is an excellent doctor but it is so hard to get an appointment with him now. I had an abscess in my mouth and needed antibiotics right away and was told the next available appointment with him is in 6 weeks! It may be his staff because I know that dr saladino would have seen me right away.. i can't complain though i am 88 years old and I know in part I have lived this long because of this man. once I was having chest pain and the cardiologist was dismissive and thought I was having chest pain because of anxiety, any way I went to see Dr Saladino and he admitted me to the hospital and turns out i was having a heart attack and had to go to Vasar hospital immediately for surgery ... so dr saladino saved my life. i am thankful...just wish it was easier to see him.. i would highly recommend him, but again getting to see him is hard.. I know its not his fault...

I was just surfing the web wen I came across this.. . I have been a patient of dr.'s for a very long time even before his beard turned white! I can only say that he has become more wise, patient and compassionate with each passing year. I LOVE MY DOCTOR AND Highly recommend him!!!!

I owe my life to this man. he got me off drugs and got my kids back i was really in bad shape, homeless, lost my job, had over 100$ cocaine and heroin habit and with his help and the help of my groups/sponser I have been sober and clean for over 3 months ... also through out this whole process Dr saladino found a murmur (was never told that by the many many doctors I have seen in the area) and turns out I have a damaged heart valve that I am now on medication for because of him.

Moved to the area from Rockland. Was recommended to Dr. Saladino by a good friend. It was easy to make an appointment (though phone lines were busy at first); on day of appointment office is clean, staff professional and friendly. His waiting room was full. I Was waiting about 15 minutes in the waiting room until I was triaged by a medical assistant and then a nurse. Met Dr Saladino and I liked him instantly. He made eye contact and appeared to be really listening to me. He spent a solid 25 minutes with me and discussed a number of issues relating to my health including preventative medicine. He is thorough. and more importantly I did not feel rushed. He appears to have an excellent bed side manner and personable as well. I like his direct approach and he does not talk down to you. Overall an excellent experience. I think I have found my new doctor!
