Dr. Young is a fellowship-trained orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for patients with conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and elbow.

A Long Island native, Dr. Young graduated from Cornell University, where she majored in Biology & Society with a minor in Nutrition. She then obtained her medical doctorate from Weill Cornell Medical College with Honors in Service, receiving an Arnold P. Gold Humanism fellowship and the Marcus M. Reidenberg award for community service.

Dr. Young completed her orthopedic surgery residency training at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, where she served as academic chief resident. During her time there, she was honored with the DeForest P. Willard Award for outstanding senior resident and the James Davidson Award for …excellence in shoulder and elbow surgery. Following residency, Dr. Young completed fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, gaining specialized expertise in both surgical and non-surgical management of complex upper limb conditions from nationally recognized surgeon leaders in hand and upper extremity surgery.
