Dr. Ayyar obtained a bachelor of science degree in biology from Baylor University and received his M.D. from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas. Dr. Ayyar completed his five-year residency curriculum in surgery at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas in 1999 with an emphasis in minimally invasive surgery. Aside from being a devoted physician, Dr. Ayyar is a loving husband and father of five.

Dr. Ayyar is an excellent surgeon, very professional, very personal and compassionate. He took excellent care of my wife, and she is alive today because of Dr. "Manny" Ayyar.

Dr. Subramanyam did my gallbladder surgery on 5-22-19 and he has a great bed side manner . He is a very nice and kind Doctor .

Dr. Ayyar was very reassuring about my surgery. He was extremely understanding and compassionate as I was very nervous re: my surgery, which was actually two different procedures. I hope to never have surgery again, but if I must, I would chose Dr. Ayyar without hesitation.

Dr. Ayyar is an amazing surgeon/doctor. He's been my surgeon on 2 different occasions. he's very thorough, and always makes sure all of my answers and concerns have addressed. I would gladly recommend Dr. Ayyar to anyone in need of a surgeon.

Dr. Ayyar is an amazing doctor and surgeon. I cannot recommend Dr. Ayyar enough! I had virtually no pain a week after surgery with no scars. I highly recommend Dr. Ayyar to friends and family or anyone. If you're trying to decide on your surgeon he's #1!
